Description:	Yucca Extract Powder is the concentrated purified extract
		of the Mohave Yucca Plant (Yucca Schidigera) which is native 
		to Baja California and the south western deserts 
		of North America.

PHYSICAL
Appearance:			Tan to Brown, free flowing powder
Odor:				Mildly Sweet, somewhat caramel-like
Taste (0.05% solution):		Essentially tasteless
pH (20% Solution): 		4.90 ± 0.40
Solubility:			Soluble in water and alcoholic beverages
Clarity of 4% Solution:		Clear, to slightly hazy
Ash:		   		less than 3.0 %
Absorbance of 4% solution
at 520 nm:			0.290 ± 0.085
Foaming Ability (Test #768):	Approximately 1.8 grams

PACKAGING		
Yucca is packed in 10, 25 kilo boxes, and 60 kilogram polyethylene-lined fiber drums

REGULATORY	
Yucca Extract Powder is approved for use in Food 
and Beverages by the United States FDA under Title 21 
CFR 172.510 and bears FEMA number 3121.

STORAGE	
Keep packages tightly sealed when not in use to prevent absorbance
of moisture from the air.
